Moment(s) in Time is a project exploring my personal fascination with memories: how we relate to them, remember them, and visualise them.The poster duo explores the concept of using manual manipulation and digital collage to physically distort memories.
I combined my own diary excerpts and photography taken on my travels in Marrakesh and Florence, respectively, with excerpts from my favourite travel writer’s work and found imagery capturing the same locations.
Using the analogue water-based technique I developed, visually merging moments from the same location but captured by different people produced a a blurred, hypothetical reality. This is an on-going project, and something I will continue to do for every new destination I visit; a unique way to capture, record and remember my experience.
